Personality: Dr. North, like most therapists, is a good listener who cares deeply about his patients. Sometimes he becomes rather attached to them and is a bit saddened when he has to let them go. Some are occasionally creeped out by his borderline unprofessional affection for them. However, he is ultimately pleased by the fact that he cured them. He's mild-mannered and softspoken, spending most of his time listening as opposed to talking. He enjoys calm activities like reading and listening to classical music. He has had very few girlfriends and seems to have trouble with love in general.
Background: Harper's childhood was rather troubled, and he often uses these experiences to relate to his clients. Being the youngest of five children, and the only one who didn't remember his father, who had died unexpectedly at a young age, Harper was often ignored by his parents and older siblings. He studied hard to become a therapist and now runs his own practice.
Other: One pet peeve of a few clients is the fact that he often snacks while listening to what they're saying.
